Flu Vaccination Information for Veterans

Seasonal Flu Shots are now available for all registered and enrolled Veterans.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone over the age of 6 months receive an Influenza (Flu) Vaccine every year in the Fall. Additionally, a onetime Pneumococcal Vaccine (Pneumovax) is recommended at the age of 65. Each year over 200,000 Americans are hospitalized and more than 36,000 die because of the Flu.
Veterans can receive the flu shot during their regularly scheduled Primary Care or Specialty Care appointments, Primary Care Walk-In Visits, Drive Thru Event, or Veteran Fall Festival.  We encourage all Veterans to receive the flu shot to protect themselves and their loved ones!
