Officials at the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center announced the recent launch of two exciting high–tech initiatives that will enhance medical center communications.

The first enhancement is the new Target Vision communication system—a digital signage technology that displays news, weather and health information across more than 50 flat-screen monitors on the medical center.

The other exciting initiative is the medical center’s new free wireless network that allows visitors to connect to the Dorn VA “Wi-Fi” and access the Internet.

Officials said the initiatives will aide in enhancing communications by providing timely access to relevant news and by providing Internet connectivity for patients and visitors.

Project funding was made available through a national grant from the VA Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation.
