2013 Mental Health Summit

The Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center will host a Mental Health Summit for providers titled “A Community of Care: Everyone Has A Role” on Sept. 11 at the Medallion Conference Center in Columbia, S.C.


The purpose of the summit, which is one of many being held nationally by VA, is to enhance partnerships throughout the community to better care for our Veterans and their family members.


The summit will involve Veterans, military service representatives, elected officials, and federal and community organizations. Partners sponsoring the summit include the U.S. Army at Ft. Jackson, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Army National Guard, and NAMI Mid-Carolina.
