VA Welcome Home Celebration at Greenville Zoo

A Welcome Home Celebration to honor Operation Iraqi / Enduring Freedom / Operation New Dawn (OEF-OIF-OND) Veterans and their families for their sacrifices, faithful service, and support to our nation will be held at the Greenville Zoo from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 25.

Staff will be on hand throughout the day and many exciting activities are planned including discussing VA health care, Veteran benefits, face painting for the kids, and more. Additionally, a free lunch will be provided to registered participants.

Veterans or family member will need to RSVP by May 23 and present a valid DD-214, VA or military identification card at the event. To RSVP contact: Contact: Stacey Davis at telephone (803) 776-4000 x7303 or by email stacey.davis@va.gov.

Organizations sponsoring the program include the Greenville Zoo, the Greenville Veterans Center, the Veterans Benefits Administration, the Dorn VAMC Women Veterans Program, and the Dorn VAMC OEF-OIF-OND Program.
