Veterans Day event

November 5, 2015

The William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center is hosting a Veteran’s Day Program Tuesday, Nov. 10 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Elizabeth Poat Auditorium (Building 5) on the VA campus.

Some of the participants for the event include: the Brooklyn Cayce High School JROTC Color Guard, Meadowfield Elementary School, and the National Daughters of the American Revolution. Guest speakers for the event include: Veterans Curtis Bowen, the general manager for Best Commercial Service and Leanne Weldin, the director of the Veterans Benefits Administration in Columbia.

All Veterans and their families are invited to attend.

The Dorn VAMC, and its seven Community-Based Outpatient Clinics, provides care for nearly 80,000 Veterans throughout South Carolina.
