COLUMBIA, South Carolina (Oct. 5, 2016) – The Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center is preparing to receive approximately 24 Veteran patients due to the evacuation of the VA medical Center in Charleston, S.C., as Hurricane Matthew approaches.

The Veteran patients will come from the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston. Additional Veterans are being evacuated to VA medical centers in Georgia (Augusta and Dublin).
