The Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center as well as the Community Based Outpatient Clinics in (Anderson, Florence, Greenville, Orangeburg, Rock Hill, Spartanburg, and Sumter) is open for normal operations.

Throughout this weather-related weekend, the Dorn VAMC took measures to ensure the safety and continued care of all our Veteran patients and some of their family members who took shelter within our campus. A sincere thanks to all staff members and volunteers of Dorn VAMC, South Carolina Hospital Association, DoD partners, and the community who sacrificed their time during these days to provide care, information, and sustenance to the patients and even each other.

Though Tropical Depression Florence has weakened, flash flooding, and river flooding continues to be problematic, along with some sporadic power outages and road/highway debris. Continue to be mindful of safety measures.

Regular updates will still be provided throughout the storm on the facility’s public Website, Facebook page, and on Twitter.
