WJB Dorn VA Chaplain Service "The Bridge to Your Spirituality."

The WJB Dorn VA Chaplain Service is the bridge to your spirituality. It is designed to help Veterans and Families regain a sense of hope, joy, peace, and strength, not only in times of crisis, but also in times of transition.

Worship Services Offered

The George J. Mitchell Chapel is located on the first floor, west wing of the main hospital, Building 100, across from the Patriot Café. It is open 24 hours a day. There is ample room for wheel chairs and a litter bed.  Enter in prayer and meditation; pre-recorded inspirational music is channeled into the Chapel throughout the week.


9:30 a.m. - Ecumenical Worship Service - George J. Mitchell Chapel
11:00 a.m. - Ecumenical Worship Service - Psy-East Recovery Unit, Bldg. 106 second floor


7:40 a.m. - Morning Prayer Devotion - George J Mitchell Chapel
10:00 a.m. - Mid-Week Devotional Service - Community Living Center (Santee/Congaree), Bldg. 103 Activities Area first floor
