We look forward to assisting with your visual needs in a friendly and professional manner. 

Please review the following information before your upcoming appointment:

What to expect from your visit

  • You will have a low vision examination with our low vision optometrist who may prescribe devices to assist you
  • Our low vision therapist will train and educate you on how to use any devices the doctor has prescribed
  • You may be referred to our Visual Impairment Service Team (VIST) coordinator, depending on your visual needs
  • You may also meet with our Blind Rehabilitation Outpatient Services (BROS), depending on your visual needs
  • If our providers determine that you need any devices, you may receive them during your visit or they may be ordered

How you can help

  • If you received a questionnaire in the mail, please fill it out and bring to your appointment
  • Bring any small low vision devices, such as magnifiers and glasses, that you are currently using
  • Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns
  • PLEASE call us if you cannot make it to your appointment, or need to change the time or day of your appointment
