Columbia VA Health Care System

February 20, 2019

The Columbia VA Health Care System acknowledges the national theme “Black Migrations” during their Black History Month program scheduled for Tuesday, February 26. The program begins 10 a.m. at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road in Columbia.

The public is invited to come and enjoy the ‘Black Migrations’ themed program with Veterans and employees.

Employees of the medical center will bring to life amazing messages from African-Americans throughout history, during which time the audience will be asked to guess who the speaker is referencing. It will be a time to hear, reflect, and learn about the ‘Black Migrations’ throughout the years.

This free event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the event.

Media who plan to attend should arrive should contact the Public Affairs Office, 803.776.4000, ext. 6519/6998 or email vhacmsdornpa@va.gov.
